Pearl – The birthstone for June

June is such a beautiful month and what’s more it has the best possible birthstone …pearl!
Online orders definitely increase with quite a lot of them including the gift wrap option, so hopefully there are lots of lovely birthday gifts being received.

It’s also the perfect month for a wedding. Couples who marry in June, stay together for life …or so I’m told.  My parents married on the 19th June and were together for 64 years.  For their diamond wedding anniversary they were very excited to receive a card from the Queen congratulating them.

There’s another interesting saying – “Marry when June roses grow, over land and sea you’ll go.” Whether that just means you’ll have an exciting honeymoon or you’ll have an exciting life together, either way it sounds like fun 🙂
