June Birthstone

Pearl is the birthstone for the month of June, so it is obviously my favourite time of the year!

Those born in June are truly lucky to be born in the only month with an organic birthstone, meaning that the gem is not formed over long periods of time in the Earth, but by a living organism.

Pearls are associated with sweetness, innocence, purity, and humility and are thought to bring the wearer long life and prosperity. They also symbolise integrity, generosity, and wisdom.
